Virus-Related Policies for all gymnasts and their families
We will update these policies upon receipt of further guidance or as conditions change.
Last Updated: January 2022

We have revisited our COVID policies and protocols in light of the increased number of fully vaccinated people as well as the ability for parents to vaccinate their children ages 5 and over. We are transitioning from mandating certain behaviors to giving parents more flexibility and control. The following are our new policies regarding COVID19.

-
We will no longer be taking temperatures as staff, parents and gymnasts enter the gym. Our thermometer will be available for anyone who wants to check their temperature. As was always the case, anyone with a temperature of 100 or more should not come into the gym.
-
We will continue to clean and sanitize our equipment and restrooms regularly.
-
We will no longer require masks to be worn in the gym. If you are unvaccinated we prefer that you not enter the gym, but if you must come in the gym we ask you to wear a mask.
-
We will not be asking anyone for proof of vaccination.
-
We are thankful to our parents who have notified us of positive COVID cases in their families. Upon receiving notification of a positive COVID case, we will inform all gym families of the date(s) and time(s) the infected person was in the gym so you can make your own decisions regarding your situation.
-
In addition, we may do one or more of the following:
-
Quarantine from the gym any gymnast or parent receiving a positive COVID test for a period we determine to be reasonable
-
Quarantine from the gym any gymnast or parent who came in sustained, direct contact with a COVID19-positive person for a period we determine to be reasonable
-
Close the gym at our discretion for the safety of our gymnasts
